A shared commitment with external stakeholders for the environment, social issues and local development
On November 27, 2025, CAT held the annual meeting of the External CSR Committee, chaired by Eng. Andrea Salinelli, with the participation of company executives and representatives of the main external stakeholders.
During the meeting, the General Management reiterated its commitment to the CSR journey, launched with the company’s adhesion to the United Nations Global Compact in 2012, as well as its commitment to reducing environmental impacts and continuing social initiatives in support of local communities for the sustainable development of the territory. An overview was also presented of the tools adopted by the Supervisory Body (SB) to ensure compliance with the Code of Ethics, together with the main CSR actions carried out, followed by the screening of a video on the “Open Doors” day held on September 27, 2025.
Representatives of associations and NGOs expressed their appreciation for the initiatives undertaken, emphasizing the importance of continuing to reduce environmental impacts and support local development. They also put forward proposals to launch new joint actions and strengthen communication with partners and the community.
Lastly, local public authorities invited the company to further enhance social initiatives in favor of schools, sports and healthcare institutions, as well as the populations of the surrounding areas.
The meeting also provided an opportunity to discuss the future prospects of the CSR strategy and to renew the company’s commitment to continuing its initiatives and consolidating partnerships with external stakeholders, in the common interest.
