Colacem S.p.A. is an industrial company operating in the cement manufacturing sector and is one of Italy's leading producers. It is part of the Financo Group, the holding company owned by Carlo Colaiacovo Holding (37.5%), Giovanni Colaiacovo Holding (37.5%) and Pasquale Colaiacovo Holding (25%), with operations across three continents.
Founded in 1966, the company has experienced steady growth, developing an industrial model based on innovation, quality and sustainability, which has enabled it to establish a strong presence in both the domestic and export markets. Over the years, Colacem has strengthened its position in Italy and abroad through continuous investments in production facilities, product development and the efficiency of its manufacturing processes.
In Italy, the company operates 6 integrated cement plants, 4 terminals and 3 distribution depots. Internationally, it has production facilities in Tunisia, the Dominican Republic, Albania and Haiti, as well as terminals in Spain and Jamaica. Its corporate headquarters are located in Gubbio, in the Province of Perugia, Italy.
In 2025, Colacem recorded revenues of approximately €529 million and employed more than 880 people in Italy. In the same year, the Financo Group achieved consolidated revenues of approximately €1.15 billion and employed around 2,600 people worldwide.

In a sector of industry with a strong incidence of energy costs, a key to success has certainly been the availability of highly efficient plants, that are able to reduce to a maximum possible degree, both loss of energy and of raw materials.
All this thanks to the will of always targeting the use of the best available technologies on the market and on the continuous upgrading of its plants, that today may well be considered amongst the most advanced in Europe.
Care of the environment, that in the sixties could have appeared to be very futuristic, has come to be one of the main factors that has led Colacem to establish itself as a leader both on the national and international scene.
