A project of urban regeneration and social responsibility that gives the community a new, safe space designed for families, strengthening social cohesion and quality of life.
As part of its commitment to community development and corporate social responsibility, Domicem, in collaboration with the Ayuntamiento of Sabana Grande de Palenque, officially inaugurated the redevelopment of the park in the La Altagracia neighborhood—an area designed for families’ leisure time and for strengthening community life.
During the inauguration ceremony, Adriano Brunetti, CEO of Domicem, emphasized that the project is the result of ongoing dialogue, active listening, and the commitment undertaken toward the community through the agreement signed with the Municipality.
“More than a simple redevelopment, this park was built from scratch, delivering to the community a completely new, safe space designed for everyone,” he stated.
The project’s main objective is to contribute to the well-being of the community by promoting gathering spaces capable of strengthening social ties and improving families’ quality of life. The initiative is part of Domicem’s more than 20 years of social engagement, focused on local development and generating a positive impact on present and future generations.
Domicem expressed special thanks to the Municipality of Sabana Grande de Palenque—represented by Mayor Miguel Valera—the city council, the Consorcio Ecoterra, responsible for constructing the park, as well as Domicem employees who made the project possible by working steadily for several months.
The inauguration also coincides with a new phase for the company, marked by the renewal of Domicem’s corporate image, visible in the update of its institutional logo. This change symbolizes the company’s evolution, its forward-looking vision, and the strengthening of its identity, in line with values of modernity, sustainability, closeness, and commitment to the communities in which it operates.
Finally, Domicem invited the community to care for and preserve this new space, stressing that its maintenance and proper use are a shared responsibility. “This inauguration is not an end, but the beginning of a new journey,” Brunetti concluded.
