Colacem Galatina Plant: 2 Years Without Accidents
An achievement built on coordinated and systematic work across all the Group’s cement plants, confirmed by consistent and widespread results over time.
On April 3, the Colacem plant in Galatina (LE) reached a highly significant milestone: two consecutive years without accidents.
This result confirms that safety is a concrete, everyday commitment throughout the Group.
The path taken by Galatina has been built over time: as early as 2020, the plant had already surpassed 365 days without accidents, demonstrating a strong and well-established safety culture.
This shared commitment also characterizes other Colacem production sites: recently, Sesto Campano (IS) achieved one year without accidents, after already reaching two consecutive years in 2024.
These results are the outcome of attention, professionalism, and a widespread sense of responsibility. Procedures, training, and prevention are essential, but it is people’s behavior that makes the difference every day.
