The Group continues the new phase of its journey with the renewal of the Boards of Directors of Colacem and Colabeton.

The Board of Directors of Colacem now includes Carlo, Luca, Cristina, Maria Carmela and Ubaldo Colaiacovo, together with Mariano Spigarelli. Carlo Colaiacovo has been appointed Chairman and Ubaldo Colaiacovo Vice Chairman. Carlo and Ubaldo Colaiacovo will serve as Chief Executive Officers, both with full operational powers.

The Board of Directors of Colabeton is composed of Carlo, Marco, Maria Carmela and Ubaldo Colaiacovo. Here too, Carlo Colaiacovo serves as Chairman and Ubaldo Colaiacovo as Vice Chairman. Carlo and Ubaldo Colaiacovo are the Chief Executive Officers, both vested with full powers.

This development represents continuity with the Group’s history, strengthening its governance structure and creating the conditions for even more solid growth, with close attention to the opportunities that markets will offer in the coming years.

The strong unity among the directors is a key element of this phase and will contribute to an increasingly integrated and effective organization, capable of addressing new challenges with awareness and determination. Along this path, innovation will support the development of activities through a pragmatic approach focused on the quality of processes and products.

In a joint statement, the members of the two Boards of Directors declared that they assume these responsibilities “with full awareness of the industrial, employment and social value that Colacem and Colabeton represent for Gubbio, Umbria and all the communities and countries in which the Group operates, as well as for the more than 2,500 families who, directly or through the supply chain, find in this reality a source of essential economic stability and future prospects.

The positive results achieved call on the directors to exercise a strong sense of responsibility towards a heritage that represents a safeguard of industrial, employment and territorial continuity.

Preserving the Group’s autonomy and its deep roots represents, for the entire community, a guarantee for the future of workers, their families and the territories that have supported its growth for generations. We will act in this spirit to preserve and strengthen a value built over decades of work, professionalism and close ties with local communities.

Finally, we wish to express our sincere gratitude to the women and men of our organization who, over the years and still today, have contributed and continue to contribute to the growth of the Group’s companies, representing every day a wealth of skills and responsibility. A significant part of the results achieved and of the solidity that characterizes this entrepreneurial reality today is due to them.”
