Colacem publishes its 19th Sustainability Report

19th edition, highest level of compliance with the GRI Standards 2021, independent assurance by Deloitte: nearly twenty years of voluntary and transparent reporting.

The Colacem 2025 Sustainability Report has been available online for the past few days. Now in its 19th edition, it confirms a voluntary commitment that began long before sustainability reporting became a widely adopted practice.

Prepared in accordance with the GRI Standards 2021 under the "in accordance" option—the highest level of compliance recognized internationally—the Report has also undergone independent assurance by Deloitte. This year's edition has been updated with a new materiality assessment in preparation for the entry into force of GRI 14 – Mining Sector in 2026.

Spanning more than 140 pages of data, charts and in-depth analysis, the Report highlights Colacem's commitment to economic, environmental and social sustainability, with a particular focus on decarbonisation, innovation, energy efficiency, people, biodiversity and creating value for local communities.

Among the main achievements in 2025:

More than €46 million invested in environmental initiatives over the 2023–2025 period, including €16 million in 2025 alone
Further reduction in the clinker-to-cement ratio (0.71)
Increased use of recycled materials (8.2%)
Growth in energy recovery through alternative fuels (23%) and the introduction of renewable electricity.
