“Umbria Business Matching” represented an opportunity for Confindustria Umbria to encourage and support mutual knowledge and understanding among the various economic-entrepreneurial realities of the territory, as well as to explore any possibilities for national and international collaborations.
About 300 companies were present at Hall no. 9 of ‘ Umbria Fiere’ in Bastia Umbra, and a number of special events were held at the Congress Centre, including three Country presentations specifically focused on Tunisia, India and Argentina , which were attended by representatives of the related Embassies.
The country presentation dedicated to Tunisia was also attended by Mr. Giuseppe Colaiacovo, CAT General Manager and Colacem Vice-Chairman, who described the successful yet challenging decade-long experience carried out by the Gubbio- based company in the Tunisian territory , during which strong difficulties in the production processes have been met. This was a further opportunity to confirm the company’s policy and commitment to investing in Tunisia by adopting the principles of sustainability, whose results are more than evident.
Colacem thus created a ‘model’ which has become an example of ‘best practice’ in doing business. The event ended up with a speech by Mr. Francesco Bracchi , representing the Grifo Broker company of Gruppo Financo. A workshop entitled ‘ “L’economia dei cambiamenti”( The economics of Changes) was organized in the afternoon by the ‘Gruppo Giovani Imprenditori di Confindustria Umbria’ ( Young entrepreneurs of Confindustria Umbria ) , focused on ‘ share economy’ and ‘crowdfunding’.
