Achievements made possible thanks to a state-of-the-art plant, which has been continuously upgraded with the best available techniques (BAT), as the recent investment of over 2 million euros for the installation of a hybrid filter that will come into operation in 2023, demonstrates.
Although it was not scheduled in the visit program, some of the aforementioned politicians specifically asked to see the CSS storage department, which has been used in Rassina for more than 15 years, allowing 40% replacement of petcoke. This good practice, unanimously recognized as such by all those present, should be encouraged as environmentally friendly and very useful in dealing with an unprecedented energy crisis.
