Domicem has renewed the agreement with the ‘ Don Bosco’ Association aimed at supporting the children

Domicem and the  “Muchachos y Muchachas con Don Bosco” Association have renewed their cooperation agreement  aimed at helping the street  children , thanks to which the cement manufacturer will support the projects of the ‘Associazione Salesiana’  by  contributing with five cents of Dominican peso for each bag of cement sold  all across the country.

The agreement was signed at the  “Canillitas con Don Bosco” center, in  Santo Domingo, by  Mr.  Francesco Cardi and Mr. Stefano Pierotti, CEO and CFO at Domicem company respectively and Father Carlos Piantini, Executive Director at ‘ Don Bosco’ , in the presence of various top managers representing Domicem company and the children hosted in this educational and religious community .

Cardì reconfirmed Domicem’s  commitment to supporting the center’s activities and actions addressed to these kids , and pointed out that  this  partnership can boast an economic/financial value of over  2.850.000 pesos every year . Domicem shares the mission, work, committal and passion of all the people involved in the ‘Don Bosco’ association . Domicem’s  utmost attention to social matters is, thus,  well represented by all the activities carried out by the ’Associazione Don Bosco’ ,which is rendering a ‘precious service’  to the whole country  .

Father Carlos Piantini, Director of the Association , thanked Domicem for the support it has been providing to the children every year,  as it is absolutely essential in order to  take them away from the street , train them and offer them the opportunity for a better life and future.
